Interlegal - Members gather in Luxembourg

The second general meeting of Interlegal in 2018 took place in Luxembourg last October.

Organized by the Luxembourg law firm Kaufhold & Reveillaud, Avocats, a local member of Interlegal, the meeting was attended by more than a hundred participants, including delegates from the association, as well as auditors of EuraAudit International, a partner network.

In the course of the proceedings, which took place in Luxembourg’s Chamber of Commerce, a number of relevant law related and world economy related issues were discussed and analysed, allowing its participants to share knowledge and learn from individuals from different legal jurisdictions. Of all the issues discussed, the topics of Brexit, cryptocurrencies and the General Regulation on Data Protection (GRDP) received special attention.

In addition to the usual business part, the event, which lasted from 27th to 30th October, included some social and cultural events, such as visiting the European Court of Justice and the Kaufhold & Reveillaud, Avocats’s offices, and a boat trip along the Moselle river to the small town of Schengen.

Interlegal’s general meetings, which are held twice a year in different locations around the globe, help to promote personal relationships among its members, providing the opportunity to forge closer professional partnerships and create new dynamics.

This was the second time Kaufhold & Reveillaud, Avocats had hosted Interlegal’s general meeting. The first general meeting of the year 2018 was held in Moscow in May, hosted by Freytak & Sons Law Office.
